Akhil Akkineni signed an interesting film under Surender Reddy's direction. Titled Agent, the film is an action thriller. Akhil Akkineni will sport a new look for the film. Vakkantham Vamsi is working on the film's story. The movie unit has now roped in writer Sai Madhav Burra to pen the dialogues for the film.

Sai Madhav Burra is working for RRR currently and he is one of the talented and experienced writers in the film industry. This is the first time that he is working with Akhil Akkineni and Surender Reddy. The dialogue work is currently in progress.

The makers are going to begin the film's shoot very soon. The film is produced by Anil Sunkara under the AK Entertainments banner. The film unit launched the first look poster that went viral on social media.
