Jeethu Joseph's recent outing 'Drishyam 2' became a big hit. The film released on Amazon Prime Video. Mohanlal and Meena played the leads in the second part of Drishyam. The shoot for the Telugu remake is completed successfully and the makers will announce a release date soon. Venkatesh and Meena played the leads in the Telugu version.

Now, the focus shifted to the Tamil version, starring Kamal Haasan in the lead. Titled 'Papanasam', the franchise's first part featured Gautami as Kamal's wife. Now, Kamal decided to replace Gautami with Meena in the film. As per the buzz, Kamal Haasan will be working with Meena after 25 years in this sequel of Papanasam.
