Superstar Mahesh Babu never showed interest to make his debut in Bollywood. The actor always felt comfortable in the Tollywood film industry. Mahesh Babu is now in talks for a prestigious film in Hindi cinema. Popular producer Madhu Mantena is planning a film based on Ramayana.

Mahesh is already in talks with the producer for playing Lord Sriram in the film. Mahesh Babu did not give his final consent yet but the sources say that he may do the film. Deepika Padukone is in talks to play Sita's character and Hrithik Roshan is in talks to play Ravana.

In a latest interview, Madhu Mantena acknowledged that his team is in talks with Mahesh Babu. However, he revealed that a formal confirmation on the film's cast will be out during Diwali, this year.
