Mega Prince Varun Tej is all set to come up with a sports drama this time. Titled 'Ghani', Varun Tej is playing the role of a boxer in the film. Debutant director Kiran Korrapati is helming this project. Saiee Manjrekar is romancing Varun Tej in this much-awaited film.

According to the latest buzz, the digital, as well as the satellite rights of the film, have bagged a fancy amount of 23 crores to the makers. Billed to be an over-budget film that is being made with a budget of 42 crores, the makers are now expecting to bag another 20 crores for the theatrical rights. However, as the theatrical business of all films got badly affected due to the covid crisis, we have to wait and see if Varun Tej's upcoming film can bag decent amounts with theatrical rights or not.

Sidhu Munda under Renaissance pictures in association with Allu Bobby Company is bankrolling this project. Kannada star Upendra and Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty are playing crucial roles in this film. SS Thaman is composing tunes for this movie whereas Marthand K Venkatesh is cranking the camera.
