Prominent businessman and actress Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra has been arrested by Mumbai Police last night in relation to a pornography case. Hemant Nagrale, Mumbai Police Commissioner noted in an official statement that, "There was a case registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in February 2021 about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this."

The cops have confirmed that the investigation is currently in process. Kundra has been arrested under IPC sections of cheating, indulging in the obscene act in public places, and publicly exhibiting or circulating obscene books or literature and under the Information Technology Act. As per the reports, Kundra was stationed in the custody of Mumbai's crime branch.

Recently, it was also reported that model and actress Poonam Pandey filed a case on Raj Kundra for using her video content illegally even after the termination of their contract. Raj and Shilpa were married in 2009. They have a son and a daughter.
