KGF: Chapter 2' is one of the most anticipated films in Indian cinema. Touted to be an action thriller featuring Yash in the lead role, the expectations are high in this film.

The second wave of Covid also affected the shooting schedules of this film and delayed the film which was initially supposed to hit the screens on the 16th of this month. Interestingly, the makers are yet to unveil the new release date. It seems like there is a strange reason behind the delay in KGF 2's release. Apparently, the minor reason behind the delay is Sanjay Dutt who is onboard to play the antagonist. He is yet to complete the dubbing for the Hindi version of the film which has delayed the post-production works as well. The makers roped in various dubbing artists to dub for his role in other language versions but he is rejecting them saying their modulations don't suit him.

The makers will take decisive action very soon. They are planning to complete the post-production as early as possible and decide on the release date.
