Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR features Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Rahul Ramakrishna, Samuthirakhani, Olivia Morris and others. DVV Danayya is producing the film under the DVV Entertainments banner. The film was supposed to have a grand release in October 2021. But, the film's release is postponed now.

Taking to Twitter, the PR team wrote, "Post production nearly done to have #RRRMovie ready by October’21. But as known to many, we are postponing the release but cannot announce a new date with theatres indefinitely closed. We will release at the earliest possible date when the world cinema markets are up and running."

Team RRR finally confirmed that the film's release is pushed from October 2021 and it will now hit the screens whenever the theatres in the world are fully functional.

Like many expected, RRR will not release now in 2021.
