Putting an end to the long delay, the makers of RRR officially confirmed the film's release date. The pan-India project RRR will hit the screens on 7th January 2022. Jr NTR and Ram Charan are playing the lead roles in the film. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakhani, Rahul Ramakrishna, and others are also a part of the film. "Experience India’s Biggest Action Drama, #RRRMovie in theatres worldwide on 7th Jan 2022." read a tweet from the official account of RRR.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the DVV Entertainments banner. The film will have a grand release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. With RRR's arrival in the theatres during Sankranthi, the makers of Radhe Shyam, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Bheemla Nayak, and F3 might rethink the film's release date.

However, team Radhe Shyam confirmed that they will not change the release date. Pen Studios that distributes Alia Bhatt's Gangubhai is also releasing RRR in North India. So, there is a chance that Gangubhai might also get postponed. In a few days, we will get to know the official confirmation on the release dates of all other films.
