Drishyam 2 is one of the super hit films in Malayalam film industry. Mohanlal played the lead role in the film, directed by Jeethu Joseph. Victory Venkatesh remade the film in Telugu with the title Drushyam 2. The film's shoot is completed and it is ready for a grand release.

The film was supposed to release this month but we hear that the release has been postponed to next year. As of now, there is no official clarity on the same and the makers are yet to give the film's official release date.

The film will skip the theatrical release and will opt for a direct OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar soon. Earlier, there are rumors that the film would opt for a theatrical release but because of no clarity on the ticket prices, the producers decided to go for a OTT release. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film is going to be a thriller. The film is the continuation of the first part.
