Director Venu Sriram made his debut with the film Oh My Friend. Later, he scored a hit with MCA and finally gained fame with Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab. The director's next film is Icon with Stylish Star Allu Arjun. However, we hear that the project is shelved.

The latest reports in the film nagar reveal that Allu Arjun is showing no interest in taking the film to the floors. He is reportedly not happy with the new developments in the script and wants to let the project go. Instead, he wants to start a film with Boyapati Srinu.

Both Allu Arjun and Boyapati did Sarrainodu in the past. The duo wants to do another film and Geetha Arts already confirmed a film in this combination.

As of now, there is no official confirmation on these developments and we have to wait for more details on the same.
