Kannada Powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar died of a massive heart attack on Friday afternoon. The star hero was laid to rest at the Kanteerava Studios in Bangalore with full state honors. The final rites were performed a while ago at the studio.

The final rites were performed by the family members, in the presence of Karnataka chief minister Bommai, fans, well-wishers, and other important leaders in the state. The family has given a fitting farewell to the actor who enthralled the fans and audiences for over two decades.

The 46-year-old actor, known for films such as “Appu”, "Veera Kannadiga" and “Maurya".

Multiple Tollywood personalities like Balakrishna, Rana, NTR, Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Srikanth, Ali and others too paid their final respects to the actor on Saturday.
