Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's next film is Vikram. The actor also decided to resume Indian 2 from next month. Shankar is the film's director. As per the latest reports in the Film Nagar, Kajal Aggarwal will be replaced in the film by another heroine. If the reports are true, Trisha Krishnan will be the replacement for Kajal Aggarwal in the film.

Kajal Aggarwal is reportedly not going to be a part of the film because of her pregnancy. Trisha will be seen as an elderly woman in the film. She will undergo prosthetic makeup for the same. The film also features Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Siddharth in other crucial roles.

AR Rahman is the film's music director. The film is bankrolled by Subhaskaran under Lyca Productions. Most likely, the film will hit the screens during Diwali, next year.
