We already know that the fifth season of Bigg Boss is currently going on in Tamil and Kamal Haasan who hosted the first four seasons is hosting this season as well.

But Kamal Hassan who recently went for the US tour tested positive for covid-19 and has been undergoing treatment for the same. As he cannot host the Big Boss for a couple of weeks, star actress Ramya Krishnan took over his place. Ramya Krishnan is all set to step in the place of Kamal Hasan as a host.

Even in Telugu Bigg Boss when Nagarjuna went on a holiday during the third season, Ramakrishna hosted the show. Now that the actress has already got the experience of hosting Bigg Boss, she is now going to replace Kamal Haasan in BB 5 Tamil for a couple of weeks.

On the work front, Ramya Krishna is also busy with her upcoming film, 'Bangarraju' starring Nagarjuna.
