Simbu impressed everyone with his comeback film Maanadu. Venkat Prabhu is the film's director. The film has met with a big hit at the box office. The makers are extremely happy with the way the Tamil audience received the movie.

Now, there are reports about the film's remake in Telugu. If the reports are true, Simbu's film will be remade in Telugu by the popular production house Geetha Arts.

The reports say that Mega Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej or Mega Prince Varun Tej will play the lead role in the remake. The talks are still going on and nothing is finalized yet.

Billed to be a time-travel fiction drama, the film features Simbu saving the chief minister of the state from an assassination plot.
