Technicians venturing into acting is not a new trend in Indian cinema. Especially, there are many music composers who have tried their luck as lead heroes in films. Himesh Reshammiya and GV Prakash fall under the same category.

Now, Devi Sri Prasad may join this list. The rumors of Devi Sri Prasad venturing into acting are doing rounds in media for many years now.

But the star composer never showed interest in coming in front of the camera.

However, he may override that policy now. Speaking in a recent interview, Devi said that the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown have changed his perception. Thus, he wants to try out many things in the future.

This hints at him showing interest in acting as well. Though nothing is confirmed yet, we can expect Devi to don makeup in the coming days.

As of now, Devi Sri Prasad is enjoying the success of his latest release Pushpa. Directed by Sukumar, this film features Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.
