The film has become a very big hit at the box office and it was also remade in Telugu with the title Jaanu, starring Samantha and Sharwanand in the lead roles. Now, the latest reports reveal us that the film will have a second part.

The makers of 96 are planning a sequel and the story of the same is currently in the scripting stage.

Ever since the film was released and became a hit, the fans are expecting a sequel from the director Prem Kumar. In a recent interview, the director has given an update that the work for the same is in progress.

If the film becomes a hit in Tamil, we may also expect the sequel for the Telugu version as well.
