After multiple postponements, Pawan Kalyan's 'Bheemla Nayak' team scheduled its theatrical release on 25th February and planned a massive pre-release event today (i.e on 21st February). While Telangana IT Minister KTR was invited as the chief guest to this event, Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav was invited as special guest. But, due to the sudden demise of Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Mekapati Gautham Reddy on Monday morning at Apollo Hospitals, the makers of Bheemla Nayak have decided to postpone today's pre-release event in Hyderabad.

Gautham Reddy's untimely demise due to cardiac arrest sent shockwaves across the both Telugu states. Currently, his mortal remains have been kept at his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad for homage and will be cremated in Nellore tomorrow.

The makers of Bheemla Nayak took to Twitter to inform that the pre-release event of the film has been postponed. Their social media post read, "Our deepest condolences to the family & friends of AP Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy garu on his sudden demise. As a mark of respect, the pre-release event of #BheemlaNayak won't be happening today! (sic)."
