Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha are playing the lead roles in the upcoming Telugu film. The film is yet to be titled and there are reports that the film will be titled as Khushi. Meanwhile, Samantha skipped the film's launch event and the media has carried multiple reports about the same.

In order to give a counter to media on a funny note, Vijay Deverakonda shared a photoshopped picture, featuring Samantha along with Rahul Ramakrishna and Vennela Kishore who were also absent for the launch event.

Shiva Nirvana is the film's director. The film has a stellar cast and the majority of the shoot will take place in Kashmir.
