Gone are the days when Tollywood movies were just restricted to only the south-Indian audience. Telugu movies are splashing big box office numbers all over India now. While some actors from Tollywood have already gained popularity as pan-Indian stars, some are trying to step into the pan-India world. However, Mahesh Babu does not fall in this category.

With his latest film Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Mahesh Babu aimed to release his film only in Telugu. The film's producers also mentioned the same.

According to the producers, the film will create a non-RRR record at the box office. The producers felt that at a time when everyone is aiming pan-India films, Mahesh came up with a commercial film that will not be seen regularly in Tollywood as many will be aiming for pan-India films in the coming days.

However, the film might not create a non-RRR record as it has opened to mixed reports at the box office.
