Pushpa: The Rise is the first part of the Pushpa franchise that was released in December last year. The film's second part was supposed to start immediately and gear up for a grand release in December this year but the shoot is yet to begin. There is no official update on the same.

The buzz is that the script is being reworked and Sukumar is working hard on coming up with yet another solid script to make the film a big hit at the box office. Meanwhile, we hear that the film unit is making arrangements to begin the shoot in August.

On the other side, the film's music director Devi Sri Prasad is reportedly composing the music and finishing the tune composition sessions. Everything is ready and everyone is waiting for Sukumar to take the project forward.

Very soon, we may hear an official confirmation on the film.
