By now, half of Hollywood might be aware of SS Rajamouli's epic action film RRR. We have seen many western filmmakers, writers, actors and critics heaping praises for this movie.

Recently, the popular film website Indiewire released a list of foreign films that can make it to the Best International Picture category in the next year's Oscars. RRR also made it to the list.

One of the producers of Baahubali, Shobu Yarlagadda, tweeted an excerpt from this article. "And if Danny Boyle’s “Slumdog Millionaire” could score eight Oscars including Best Picture, Director, and Score for composer A.R. Rahman, launching the careers of Dev Patel and Freida Pinto, why can’t “RRR” take a run at some major categories and craft awards as well?" a paragraph in the article read.

Indiewire stated that RRR also has chances of making it to the craft categories (Best Music, Best Visual Effects etc).

After such expectations from the Hollywood folks, even Indians are rooting for RRR to make a huge noise at the Oscars 2022.
