Recently, she opened up on the release of a rape accused in Gujarat and faced several questions of her silence on the recent case in Hyderabad. In this context, she urged everyone to not make her tweets political.

"Whatever I tweet /retweet are solely my own interest and not paid/promoted by/for anyone/anything. I will speak up on things where I am sure of what happened. I am a working woman/mother and there are many times I end up not knowing the truth on a few things which you expect me to speak up by the time I get the time to speak up, the issue gets so diluted that it gets very difficult for me to have an opinion of my own. So please don’t make any of my tweets political," tweeted the actor.

Despite her clarification, Anasuya is facing a lot of questions and is also being trolled by some of the netizens.

On the work front, Anasuya's new film Wanted PanduGod was released the other day and ended as a flop.
