Akkineni Naga Chaitanya signed an interesting film in the direction of Parasuram Petla. The film was supposed to happen at the time of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. But, the director has kept Chay's project on hold. However, the duo has now decided to come up with the film soon. But, there seems to be roadblocks in the same.

We hear that Naga Chaitanya had complained that the film has the shades of Geetha Govindam, especially in terms of the characterizations of the lead actors. Parasuram tried to rework on the script but then, Chay reportedly felt that the film lacks mass appeal.

For a couple more other reasons, there seems to be second thoughts on the project right now. There is no clarity if the film will hit the floors anytime soon.
