Superstar Mahesh Babu is always open to working with directors of all languages. However, he strictly wants the films to be made in Telugu. Telugu director Mohan Raja who made his impressive mark in Kollywood, returned to Telugu cinema recently with the film Godfather.

Interestingly, Godfather is the remake of the Malayalam hit film Lucifer. However, Mohan Raja got the opportunity in a dramatic manner. The filmmaker was supposed to work with Superstar Mahesh. Mohan Raja was in Hyderabad to narrate a story to Mahesh Babu. Producer NV Prasad got the appointment of Mahesh Babu, and Mohan narrated the script too.

It was the time when Chiranjeevi was looking for directors for the remake of Lucifer. That's how producer NV Prasad recommended Mohan Raja for the project and the rest is known to everything.

However, there is no clarity on the film in the combination of Mohan Raja and Mahesh Babu.
