With all the re-release trends, they were trying hard for 'Chatrapathi', Billa', 'Mirchi', but surprisingly, 'Vasrham' has worked out for them. Needless to say, 'Varsham' is one of the most successful and biggest blockbusters of Telugu cinema. Produced by M.S. Raju, the film had a very good vibe before its release. Music composed by Deci Sri Prasad has gone viral hit that cassettes weren't available at the music stores. Upon its release, the film gained immediate blockbuster talk. Not to forget it was the time the industry was full of maas masala revenge dramas making a big score.
