Director Puri Jagannadh's recent film, Liger, was a disappointment, leading to his Bollywood plans being put on hold. As a result, he is now looking to work with Telugu actors and has long been interested in collaborating with Megastar Chiranjeevi.

Following the success of Waltair Veerayya, Puri is currently writing a commercial film for Chiranjeevi, and the actor has asked him to present the script within a month. Chiranjeevi hopes to begin shooting the project soon after finishing work on his current film, Bhola Shankar, with the goal of releasing it this year.
