In recent times, there has been an increase in the number of heart attacks, particularly among young people, following the pandemic. Even Sushmita Sen, who is known for being one of the fittest stars, has had a heart attack.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the 47-year-old actress informed her fans that she suffered a heart attack a few days prior and had to undergo angioplasty, including the insertion of a stent. However, her cardiologist reassured her that she indeed has a big heart.

“I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back. Angioplasty done. Stent in place and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’. All is well & I am ready for some life again!!!,” she posted.

Although Sushmita Sen remains unmarried, she mentioned that she is now doing well and ready to embrace life once again.
