According to the latest reports, director Vasishta, who directed the first installment of the Bimbisara franchise, may not direct the second installment due to creative differences with the film's team.

Vasishta has moved on to his other projects, and both he and Kalyanram have reportedly decided to part ways amicably. It is said that Kalyanram is considering Anil Paduri, who headed the VFX works of Bimbisara, to direct the sequel.

Meanwhile, Vasishta is reportedly in talks to direct star heroes, including Nandamuri Balakrishna, Ram Charan, and Rajinikanth. He recently met with Rajinikanth and narrated a storyline that impressed the superstar. It is expected that this project with Rajini will take off later, and in the meantime, Vasishta will be working on another film project.
