Director Puri Jagannadh has had his fair share of ups and downs in his career, but has always bounced back from his failures. His recent film, Liger, which was meant to launch Vijay Deverakonda in Bollywood, was a commercial disaster, but Puri remains undeterred.

He had previously met with Chiranjeevi to pitch a story to Ram Charan, whom he had launched in Chirutha. However, this did not come to fruition as Ram Charan has a packed schedule, including Shankar's film RC15, following the success of RRR.

Undeterred, Puri has now turned to young hero Ram Pothineni, with whom he previously collaborated on the hit film iSmart Shankar. Puri hopes to recreate the success of their previous collaboration and make a strong comeback.
