SS Rajamouli, accompanied by his wife Rama Rajamouli, recently attended a special screening of 'RRR' in Japan on March 18. During an interaction with fans at the event, Rajamouli shared exciting updates about his upcoming project with Mahesh Babu.

Rajamouli confirmed that the script is ready and the pre-production is underway, and the casting process is still going. However, he confirmed that Mahesh Babu has been finalized as the main protagonist.

Addressing the audience, Rajamouli introduced Mahesh Babu, praising him as a talented actor and remarking on his handsome appearance. He expressed his intention to bring Mahesh Babu to Japan during the film's release to introduce him to the audience.

Rajamouli had previously hinted that the film would be an adventure-packed extravaganza inspired by the likes of 'Indiana Jones', promising a modern and expansive setting.

KL Narayana is producing the film under the Durga Arts banner. The film has music scored by MM Keeravani.
