Alia Bhatt, who made a successful Telugu debut with Rajamouli’s global blockbuster RRR is returning to Telugu cinema. The actress seems to be shifting her focus to regional film industries.

Recent reports suggest that she has agreed to collaborate with acclaimed director Nag Ashwin. According to Bollywood media, Nag Ashwin is in discussions with Alia for a major pan-Indian project.

While he is set to be occupied with the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD after 2026, he plans to take on a female-centric film before starting work on the sequel. The project will be produced by Ashwini Dutt’s Vyjayanthi Movies. Further details about this film are yet to be revealed. If Alia does the film, it will be a big boost for her career.

Alia Bhatt was last seen in the film Jigra and it did not perform to the expectations. More details on her upcoming projects will be out soon.
