Uyyala Jampala Audio Review

Uyyala Jampala is an upcoming feel good romantic comedy starring new comers Raj Tarun and Balika Vadhu fame Avika Ghor in the lead.  The trailer of the film has already created a whiff of interest among the audience. Music for the film has been composed by Sunny, who gave a breezy album like Swamy Ra Ra earlier this year. iQlik brings you the exclusive music review of this interesting album:

The album begins with the title track Uyyalaina Jampalaina with wonderful string section and laid back rhythm.  The vocalists Harshika Gudi and Anudeep Dev perform at their best for a feel good melody like this.  It is wonderful to find a lilting melody with amazingly audible lyrics which has become a rarity in Telugu films off late!

After a relaxed start, the album takes a new turn with funkiness in the second track with Lapak Lapak Aipothundhi sung by Harshika Gudi, Bindu and Deepu. The music style for this track is essentially Reggae and Country music but the composer makes sure the lyrics are in the forefront. The orchestration is done skillfully with adept use of saxophone, string section and the jazzy feel arrives for the listener’s pleasure as well! To top it all, the song carries a beautiful conversational style as well.

NIjamga Idhi Idena arrives with an amazing prelude equipped with western symphony and sung by Harshika Gudi and the composer Sunny himself. The bass notes are wonderfully sung by Harshika and she is a promising new singing talent to look for! The interludes take the track forward in Classic Rock style but the composer makes it absolutely sure that the Telugu Nativity isn’t lost anywhere.  Sunny’s breezy voice adds so much value to this track.

The groovy mood of the album continues with Mana Bandham sung by the composer Sunny again supported well by electric guitars and mellowed percussions. Though his voice resembles Yuvan Shankar Raja, there is a different tinge to it. The interludes are wonderfully woven between clarinet, flute and soothing acoustic guitar. This track is the most laid back track in the album.

Dher Tak Chala which comes next is sung by veteran singer Arijit Singh is the Hindi version of Mana Bandham. He brings a new freshness to the track with his voice and unlike the previous version, this version is laden with refreshing energy. Arijit Singh, who is highly skilled in singing bass vocals makes his entry in Tollywood with style!

Verdict:
Uyyala Jampala is a welcoming whiff of musical breeze in the midst of heavy loaded Telugu Albums this year and is sure going to make an impact on the listeners for long time to come by! Good choice of singers, neat orchestration and lovely lyrics add to the value of the album in grace.
