5 glorious years for Magadheera

It’s been exactly 5 years, Magadheera (a great warrior) got released. The movie is a master piece from the movie genius SS Rajamouli. The movie broke all the previous industry records in Tollywood and has taken the film making to all new level.
 
Magadheera, is just second film to Ram Charan, it has made him the top star overnight and put him in league of big heroes and so is for Kajal who is just trying her luck in Tollywood. With the stupendous success, director Rajamouli has reached the pinnacle.
 
The movie was later dubbed into Malayalam as Dheera- the warrior and as Maaveran in Tamil and was equally successful there as well.
 
The Telugu version has collected shares over Rs. 73.1 crore (US$12million) worldwide excluding the satellite and, music rights. The movie ran for 50 days in 280 theaters in AP and 100 days in 225 direct theaters, 720 days in 5 theaters and 1001 days in 1 theater in Kurnool.

Despite being a huge commercial success, the movie has bagged several awards as well and here is the list:
