Court gives a shock to Heroine Asin

Asin – our memory dates back to Ghajini or even Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi when we hear this name.

While she is out of the frame from almost 2012, the recent Rs 10 lakh fine imposed by the Ernakulam District and Additional Sessions Court has in fact took Asin by surprise. Passing the verdict on a case filed by Vijayalakshmi, the proprietor of Sobith Enterprises (Ravipuram), the court has issued a deadline of Jan 14 to furnish the Rs 10 lakh fine.

Going into the details, Asin has allegedly breached a contract and has evaded a payment to Sobith Enterprises, an interior designing firm who has been deployed to decorate Asin’s apartment in Kochi. The interior designing company has signed a contract with Asin and after the design work has started, Asin and her father did not further respond to their calls. And suddenly, the company received a legal notice from Asin stating the termination of the agreement. By that time, Asin was supposed to pay 50% of the agreed fees which Asin is reportedly evading, as per sources.

Now, how will deal with this case is a wait and watch for all of us.
