Brand Name Really Matters For Films?

You would have noticed that whenever a film is being planned, a fair share of importance is given to the names associated with it. There is a tendency to rope in famous names for a project and while some perceive it as experience, the general intention is to add more brand value to the project.

When you see big names associated with a project, you tend to conclude the product is going to be good. But let’s talk some facts. How much of value addition is actually done to a film having big names. There is no doubt that the film would create sufficient hype and initial attraction with these names.

But ultimately, what matters is what is seen onscreen and if the content there is not delivered in every department such as music, cinematography, editing or acting then the film collapses as a whole. Point is, the real method to gain success for a film is to go for genuine talent and not by going for brand names.
