We know the political journey of Megastar Chiranjeevi. He is currently in Congress and managing his film activities simultaneously. However, speculations were rife from a while that Chiru would join BJP very soon. Chiranjeevi finally chose to open up on these speculations that were doing rounds in web, social and electronic media.
Answering a question at a puja ceremony at the Film Nagar temple this morning, Chiru offered a clarification on the issue of joining BJP. He lashed out the speculations as baseless rumors. He also stated that he is still a staunch believer in the ideologies of the Congress party and shall remain as a Congressman. Chiru thereby requested media to take this clarification for granted and draw curtains over this issue.
Meanwhile, Chiru is currently busy with the wedding arrangements of his younger daughter Sreeja after which he’ll start shooting for his upcoming Katthi remake.
