It is not an easy job for a female lead to grab the limelight with girl next door looks and stunning performance instead of eye candy glamour. But Malayalam actress Nithya Menen can be termed as highly successful in this regard. Right from her first Telugu film Alaa Modhalaindhi, this actress won many hearts with her natural performance and screen presence. The actress always said that she believes in portraying strong roles and has been zooming in with great confidence.
However, Samantha’s story is somehow different. She began her career as a girl next door by playing the role of a Malayali Christian girl Jessie in Gautham Menon’s Ye Maaya Chesave but later switched to glamorous roles as well. These two actresses lit up the screen in Suriya’s time travel film 24 recently. However, it was Nitya’s role which had more say in the story and she delivered par excellence while Sam was confined mostly to the love track.
These two actresses will be seen again in another project Janatha Garage opposite Young Tiger Jr NTR. Apparently, Nithya’s role in this film will be sweeping off everyone’s feet while Samantha’s role is confined to eye candy once again! Both these actresses have their own fan base and we will have to see who would score more points!
