Mega Powerstar Ram Charan's Dhruva released last week and despite positive reviews it lagged behind with respect to opening collections estimates.
Sources close to the unit see demonetization as one of the key reasons behind these dull collections. Dhruva three days box-office collections are around Rs 20Cr in the two Telugu speaking states and and trade pundits are skeptical if Dhruva collections can reach the magical Rs 50 Cr mark or not!
On the other hand, Dhruva movie is doing good in the overseas market with recording the first 1Million USD film in Ram Charan's career so far. And adding to the advantage, there are no other major release until two more weeks which is indeed a blessing in disguise for Dhruva. This two-week gap might help Dhruva accomplish the Rs 50Cr mark!
Meanwhile, Dhruva team completed their promotions in the US which eventually gave them the desired result. We have to wait for few more days to see Dhruva's commercial fate!
