Whenever films work at the box office it is natural for those projects to get mixed reactions from different genres of audience. But at the end of the day there is always a takeaway for the film fraternity which gives them some clarity. Two films have done that for the cine folks in the Tollywood circuit.
They are Fidaa and Arjun Reddy. The first movie has touched a whopping 50 crores mark while the second has crossed the 25 crores mark. Taking Fidaa into consideration it is clear that Telugu audience is not just about commercial masala potboilers but it can also welcome some heart touching cute love stories.
On the other hand Arjun Reddy which saw only the youth and mass audience without the family audience has proved that whenever a film is made with the right intensity, it would appeal to the viewers despite all the rawness and boldness. These films would certainly open new avenues for the Tollywood filmmakers.
