The week has come to an end and normally the weekends are the time when films pick up post their release on Friday. However, going by the numbers getting recorded from the theatres this week it appears as if the Tollywood box office has faced a very sad fate due to poor statistics.
Multiple releases struck the theatres yesterday and the promising contenders were Ungarala Rambabu featuring Sunil, Kadhalo Rajakumari featuring the variety hero with baritone voice Nara Rohith and the much-hyped scientific thriller Sreevalli helmed by Bahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad.
Apart from them, there were dubbed releases like Sarasudu, Veedevadu and others. Unfortunately, none of the films were able to garner attention from the audience and they have turned out to be damp squibs. The collection figures are sad so all hopes now rest on Jai Lava Kusa arriving next Friday.
