The year 2018 has not been that great for the Tollywood circuit because some of the most promising movies ended up as big duds at the box office. The first quarter went with huge losses and all hopes were then pinned on the summer releases. The first release in this season happened to be ‘Rangasthalam’ and it has created a huge wave.
Well, the film has become a bumper blockbuster and now the discussion is not about how it became a hit but to how far it can go as far as the collections go. Already, ‘Rangasthalam’ has become the only film to touch a 120 crores share bracket which happened only with ‘Baahubali -1 ‘ and ‘Baahubali -2’.
According to the trade analysts, the film featuring mega power star Ram Charan is expected to touch at least the 250 crores mark. This is because the swing is still on and the momentum has not dipped a bit. Most of the theatres are still recording housefull collections and the film has time till May 4th because that’s when the next biggie ‘Naa Peru Surya’ is coming.
