Mallesham Trailer: A Path-Breaking Telugu Film

How realistic can a Telugu film be? Can Telugu filmmakers be able to make movies as realistic as Tamil directors? - With C/o Kancharapalem, Fidaa and several other films, Tollywood has proved how we can bring in the naturality to a film. Now, here is yet another path-breaking film 'Mallesham'.


The film is based on the real life story of Telangana weaver from Yadadri district, Chintakindi Mallesham. It has comedian and supporting artist Priyadarshi in the lead role. Mallesham, a Class VI dropout has won prestigious Padmasri Award for inventing a 'The Asu machine' that weaves a Pochampalli saree in just 1.5 hours. His exemplary work has helped the weavers of Telangana state to reduce the work on single saree by more than 5 hours. Ananya is the lead actress who did her job well. TV anchor Jhansi can be seen in the role of Mallesham's mother.


Going by the trailer, the film will show us all the hardships faced by Mallesham in inventing the Asu machine (weaving machine). Priyadarshi is just outstanding with his settled and brilliant performance as Mallesham. The film is directed by Raj R, who also jointly produced it along with Sri Adhikari. Popular Telangana lyricists Goreti Venkanna, Chandrabose, Dasaradhi and Ashok Peddinti have penned songs for this film. Mark K Robin is the music composer. 'Mallesham' is slated for release on 21st June.
