Upasana Writes To Modi For Neglecting South Film Industry

Upasana Kamineni Konidela, wife of Ram Charan Tej and daughter in law of Megastar Chiranjeevi, took to Instagram to talk about something that many have not been able to do since a long time. It is seen that Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India has been meeting stars from Bollywood, hosting parties for them and photographs of all of them spending quality time with the Prime Minister have been doing rounds. Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir, Sonam Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and others have shared their recent photographs with him and they have gone viral.

Keeping these in mind, Upasana wrote to her Instagram account by tagging Narendra Modi and wrote, “Dearest @narendramodi ji. We in the South of INDIA admire you and are Proud to have you as our Prime Minister. With all the due respect we felt that the representation of Leading personalities and cultural icons was limited only to Hindi Artists and the South Film Industry was completely neglected. I express my feeling with pain and hope it’s taken in the right spirit.” (sic)
