Actor Karthi was in Hyderabad on Sunday to promote his upcoming film Khaidi, which is slated for release on October 25. The actor’s last two films have been disasters at the box office and so, Karthi has a lot of hopes on this film.
“Khaidi has a different film. It is a commercial film which is very much different from the commercial aspects of the regular ones. The whole film has been shot during the nights and the film doesn’t have any scenes which see the daylight. We have shot for 60 nights and it was tough,” said the actor.
Also, he added that the director came to him saying that this is just a small film, but he felt that this film can be made really big and believed that it will do well at the box office. “I am sure the audience will love the film. Since day 1, even I have been very much excited about the film because it is so special as a story. It is based on a lot of true incidents,” he added.
