Gautham Menon is one of the brilliant filmmakers in South who created a sensation with his film Vinnathandi Varuvaya. Later, the film got remade in Telugu as Ye Maya Chesave. Simbhu and Trisha played the lead roles in the Tamil version of the film who played Karthik and Jessie.
Already, there are rumours that Simbhu and Trisha are coming up for the sequel of the film and it was confirmed by Gautham Menon too. Now, the director came up with a short film featuring Trisha and Simbhu.
Karthik calls back Jessie after he comes to know that she is in Kerala. Karthik finds it struggling to write and feels insecure. He calls up Jessie revealing his want that she should be there for him. Jessie comforts him with her words and fills strength in him. It's a lovely conversation between them which was shot during the lock down with both the actors living in their own homes.
AR Rahman scored the music for the short film. It will be nice to see a Telugu version of the same with Naga Chaitanya and Samantha.
