Krithi Shetty had to travel Kolkata for shooting Shyam Singh Roy. Krithi Shetty, however. was able to watch her debut film Uppena on day one because of Nani. Nani arranged a special show of the film at Kolkata for her and the entire team.

Uppena created a new record by collecting a huge revenue on the release day. Going by the trend, Uppena will reach the breakeven point in a few days.
