Sekhar Kammula's silence on Sarangadariya controversy

Sarangadariya song from Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer 'Love Story' directed by Sekhar Kammula became a chartbuster. Sai Pallavi's mesmerizing dance moves have set the stage on fire and the song video went viral on the internet.

 

But, that folk song landed the film in a controversy. A folk singer, Komali from Warangal approached media claiming that Shekar Kammula had promised her that he will make her sing the song in the film. But, as she was sick, she asked for some time. However, the director who was in a hurry brought another singer on board and have not even given the rights to her. "He even promised that he will make me sing this song at the audio release," added Komali.

 

Kamali has already crooned the song in a TV show. Sekhar Kammula who liked the song reached the writer Suddala Ashok Teja. Even after this controversy, Shekar, Sekhar Kammula has been tight-lipped about this issue.
