Jersey actress walks out of Baahubali project

Streaming giant Netflix planned to make a series based on the Baahubali franchise. This series is based on the book The Rise of Shivagami. Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur was roped in to play the lead role in this series. She also shot the project for a long time.

However, we now hear that she walked out of it. Netflix was unhappy with the initial version made by filmmakers Deva Katta and Praveen Sattaru. Thus, the management decided to reshoot the entire project with a new crew. Apparently, Mrunal has no dates now and thus, she decided to walk out of the film. According to the sources, she will be replaced by Wamiqa Gabbi. It seems that she will join the sets very soon. Wamiqa made her Telugu debut with the film Bhale Manchi Roju.

She has also acted in quite a few Malayalam and Punjabi movies. Meanwhile, Mrunal will be coming up with Farhan Akhtar's Toofan and Shahid Kapoor's Jersey this year.
