Adivi Sesh's 'Major' release postponed

Adivi Sesh is upping his game in the industry with his upcoming film Major. The film will release in multiple languages and he created a buzz with the teaser already. The film was supposed to hit the screens in July but the film unit has announced the film's postponement. The unprecedented times we are living in is the reason for the change in the film's release date.

 

The team has officially confirmed the same on social media. Sharing the note of postponement, the film unit wrote, "Let's celebrate a MAJOR pride of our country when times get better in THEATRES. Stay safe & stay home." In the note, the team mentioned, "We are living in unprecedented times and we hope you all are following all the safety protocols and staying safe. Our film Major, which was originally scheduled for a release on 2nd July, is now postponed to a later date. We will announce the new release date once things are back to normal. Times are tough but so we are."

 

Major is a biopic on the life of martyr Major Unnikrishnan who lost his life during the 26/11 attacks. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Sony Pictures, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, and A+S Movies, the film will have a release in Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam languages.
