Christians File a Complaint on Kareena Kapoor Khan

Very often, we see a lot of celebrities and films facing the wrath of a few sections of people for hurting their religious sentiments. Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is the latest victim on this list.

A complaint was filed on the Jab We Met heroine in the Beed City of Maharashtra, raising the objection over her new book's title, "Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible." The complaint was filed against Kareena and two other people who are involved in writing and publishing the book.

It was filed by Alpha Omega Christian Mahasangh president Ashish Shinde at the Shivaji Nagar Police Station. He stated that the usage of the Holy word Bible in the book's title has hurt their religious sentiments.

Ashish Shinde sought the complaint under IPC section 295-A, which refers to the deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs.

Speaking to the PTI, Shivaji Nagar Police Station in charge Inspector Sainath Thombre said that they have taken the complaint but the case is not registered yet. He stated that they can not register the case because the incident happened in Mumbai, not in Beed. He suggested Shinde file a complaint in Mumbai.

Kareena is yet to respond to the issue. Meanwhile, the book is co-authored by Aditi Shah Bhimjani. Kareena discussed her mental and physical experiences of going through both her pregnancies, in this book. She launched the book on July 9.
